brake light problem

i have a ek with a gsr and my brake light doesn't work when i dont have my headlights on but when i turn them on they are constantly on and do not turn off any idea what the problem might be?

nope the brake lights just stay on
-_- just got pulled over for this... so need this problem solved

so none of the lamps in the tail lights light up when you press the brakes? what about your 3rd brake light? You need to be more specific so I don't have to ask these silly questions.
