I wanted to share some pictures from an event that is growing in size every year and it is one that I look forward to as much as any. It is a charity event that benefits the kids at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. It is really cool because you get to put your car through more than just drag racing....you are racing 130 other cars for ET, Drag Eliminations, Auto X, Slalom, and your car is judged for cleanliness in the car show. It is also an Import vs. USA shootout after all the points are tallied.

It is a lot of fun seeing some cars go at it that you wouldn't normally see on a drag strip.

Here are a few pictures. I raced in my EVO X. I race the car almost every Sunday in the SCCA STU class, which is a street tire class with some serious competition. For power we are allowed intake, emissions legal exhaust, fuel and timing changes (no upgrades in boost), suspension, and 245 street tires. My car comes in a 3850lbs with me and a little bit of gas. Out of the 130 cars I ran the 3rd quickest time in auto x, 2nd in slalom, and a 12.4 1/4 mile in this fat piggy with exhaust and stock intake. 1st Place Overall in B Class.

Quickest Auto X car of the day and the only guy to beat me through the slalom 9.1 to my 9.2. I'm cool with it, he is last year's SCCA National Champion in Street Mod
