Im tired of having my 95 gsr, and its not very reliable

first option is get a 2k or 2001 ducati montser 600 or similar bare bones first time rider bike, and get a daily beater for the normal stuff. thinking an older toyo truck or jap used 4dr of some sort

for about the same money
i have a freind who has 2000 civic hatch with an itr motor with 8k miles on it, with itr brakes, caged, coilovers, and all of the supporting goodies
but no warranty. and driving around it is a high strung car with firm suspension and no sound deadening

thoughts?

 

Get the hatch or if you really want a bike go out and take the MSF course and get a Suzuki SV650.

the only reason is because, ive always wanted to ride that.

I would't get the bike, it's becoming more and more dangerous to ride as cell phones and soccer moms in SUVs become more and more popular. If I got a bike, it'd be primarily for track use, maybe take it on the streets every once in a while.
