so, my motor smokes, i cant do this anytime soon, just wanting to start thinking of some ideas...

i want to be reliable and have it run pretty good, doesnt have to be crazy, just a fun driver but be fairly quick.

i was thinking of finding some high comp pistons and rings, along with getting a little cam, cam gear, new bearings, arp hardware, and ill hone the cyls with a ball hone...

anyond have any similar builds or any suggestions. i really dont want to take it to the machine shop unless i find it is neccessary.
