Default UPDATE: Wastegate sound??? turbo newbie here

I have a TO4E 50 a/r turbo setup on my f23a1 engine. i have a greddy BOV type S(the slow to make a noise one). I have a hose connecting the wastegate to the cold side of the turbo housing. The boost controller is tapped into that line as well. the top of waste gate port is open.

My question is when i get on the gas and then push the clutch in i hear 2 noises, a gush of air first then following my blowoff valve noise. is this normal? is my wastegate blowing air out then my BOV? the boost controller has a port thats open as well. please helpmthanks guys!
ALL hoses and lines are clamped down with hose clamps too.

the vacuum line should go from the compressor housing, to one port on the boost controller, then from the other port on the controller to the bottom port of the wastegate (assuming this is a MBC)

yes i have a MBC. so i have this hooked up wrong? its a very simple mbc just 2 ports and screw. i always wondered why it takes so many unscrews to make alittle more boost.

I used this link http://audiforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68777 and the advise above and didnt work. When i hooked it up the right way it wouldnt go past 7psi (wastegate spring).
i flipped the hoses around on the MBC then it was going past 10psi REGARDLESS of the MBC adjustment.
my question is does the MBC have to be close to the turbo housing or doesnt matter?

If you hooked it up like I said and the site said, and it hit WG pressure it was right, if its not adjusting as you tighten it, something may be wrong with the MBC itself

i was loosening it and would go past the 7 psi. so the location of the mbc doesnt matter? thanks for the response/info man. wierd thing is when i have it T'd into the line i was able to go to 9 pounds.
