keep in mind that those ricey headlights aren't designed for hid's. you should look into a retrofit instead.

Retrofitting is when you take a set of HID projectors from other cars that come with them from the factory, and actually disassemble/cut your headlight housings, and install the HID projectors in your housing. Most people use S2k or TSX projectors. This is the best way to go about having HID in cars without it. The cutoff is great, and doesn't glare everywhere. VERY expensive and time consuming though, so you have to decide if it is worth it to you.

Not to sound dumb but why is it so much? Is it because of the cost of the headlights or because most people pay someone else the labor to do it?

Those projectors may look nice, but they are definitely crap. I think Rico_ tried them out (or something similar) and wrote them off as total junk. I definitely wouldn't waste money on them. Saving up for a retrofit would be your best option. Or you could do it yourself for much less: http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/do-yo...-tutorial.html

You should take a look at the Vibrant catback exhaust. I have one on my Si and would highly recommend it.

I would advise against putting HID's in your stock reflector housings. You will actually loose light coverage and it looks like crap. Retrofit is the only way to go if you want HID's.

The only point of contention thus far is the Honda's steering. Some thought the tight steering in line with the Si's sporty nature while others felt intimidated by it.

there you have. i wouldn't say it's time consuming if you have it done for you, but it IS expensive; i think i rememeber seeing someting like $800-1,000 for a complete retrofit. personally, i would never install hid's in my car without a proper retrofit; you can usually tell which car has done it the proper way, and which car just had hid bulbs installed in their regular headlights. i'm a big fan of doing things the proper way the first time.
