whats that grey spot on the quarter panel? what was the original color? looks like the car was painted. is the rear interior there? are you gonna smog it? when are the tags due? whats the ballpark range you looking to get?

the previous owner had got the dent and i sanded it down and primered it to avoit rust. its original y49 but has been repainted i tags are due in march 2010 the rear panels are ther just not the compartments. i will not smog it unless you pay extra i can get it done tho and make an offer, i just posted it to see what happens

 

California law says that the seller has to smog the car no matter what. Even if you put "as is" or "buyer must smog" in your post. If you sell a car without smogging it you can be sued

 

really since when??? and if i sell it without smogging it i will have the new owner sign a paper agreeing to the purchase and being responsible for smog. But good looking out because i did not know that

 

that has been a law for a long time. nobody follows it though. i always type up a bill of sale with "no smog", "as-is", and "no refunds" and i never have any problems. i make 3 lines for buyer, seller, and witness signatures along with a space to put CDL# and date of purchase.

the law actually says that buyer is responsible to make sure the car passes smog, not literally do the smog check,same when you buy a used car at the dealer, the dealer smogs the car for you but your paying for the smog out of your pocket, so same as doing it yourself
