i noticed the traction bars dont use the trani mount in the front...is that safe to do? i just put my engine in and want to use the half rad for my turbo app....but that looks kinda "unsafe" with a missing mount..has anybody here installed one ?

its fine. just get stiffer mounts

 

would regular mounts w/ the polyurathan bushings be ok?

 

Given the fact that 90% of the EF trany mounts I seen so far are bad (that's with the stock low torque monster engines). I would say that the trany mount is needed unless you are running stiff aftermarket motor mounts.

 

i have the innovative traction bars in the front. they also make the front mounts for our cars now.
