Default Vtec Wiring

I know this has been cover befor as i have searched for the answer, i have a civic that was manufactured in 10/92 so does that make it for the Prewired for Vtec? Anything that i find is for 92 Civic but i dont find a cutoff manf. date

Any 92's were prewired to the shock harness. mean you can put a ex/si engine harness and you will have v tec. that or you can run 2 wires from the v tec to the shock harness and one for ground.

what im asking is mine is technicly a 93 because it post 6/92 but since its 10/92 is it still prewired?

in that thread you posted i found the answer, i dont have the orange/white or orange/blue so not prewired. but luckly im ok i can run two wires lol i will be getting the rywire subharness it looks like

its not prewired, so i just have to run the vtec wires into the ecu locations and install the rywire sub harness to have vtec

thanks, the rywire subharness is like 65 plus shipping could i find a ex/si harness for cheaper or do they go for more?
