sorry i'm not trying to sound like an *** but if you had to ask that question then i would really recommend that you dont try the headgasket without supervision. buy a helms or at least a chiltons and that will detail it.

i'll handle this fella's
**** ITS HARD.
You would need:
Manual, really good one.
A good friend that will be there for many hours who has done a headgasket on their own, all by themselves and that may not fix it, a shop will have it tested to check for warpage, because if its warped, it wont seal even with a new gasket.

is it hard? should i use an actual gasket or the make a gasket silicon stuff?
u need to use a gasket made for that specific engine.........
u CAN NOTTTTTTTTTT make a gasket made of silicon...... its not the thersmostat gasket. its the head one wich its criticall in the engine performance......
i have done a few head and engine rebuilds.....
and i tell u, since u dont know anything about it (since u asking "dumb" questions) just let someone else do it, and u can watch and learn,... dont try to do it urslef..... (nuttin personal, and dont wanna be an ***)
this procedure needs to be done carefully, so u get a tight seal, u get the right compression, u dont get any leaks, of water, oil or compression leak.. u gotta make sure the surfaces make a nice contact, the torque specs on the head that to be on a specific order and specific torque,,,,,,,,
get a manual from any auto part... read and learn and u qill see is not just take out and take in........ then u gotta look for piston rings leaks, since u take the head out u gotta check the cylinder walls to make sure they ok and yada yada yada.......
isnt that easy at all.......
