Default Who has removed their power steering and AC?

Just looking for some opinions from people who have done it (Corey I'm expecting a reply from you ). Did you see a noticable increase in power? Was the increase you felt worth losing AC and power steering for? Do you ever wish you hadn't done it? I've been going back and forth over whether or not to do this figured I'd see what people who have done it thought. Thanks!

Doesn't become a pain when your trying to park or anything? Thanks for the opinion, I'm giving it a lot of thought.

I will never pull my a/c.
a/c is the best in South Ga in the summer. well **** all the time. it dosnt get too bad (parking) when all the P/s fluid is out. its actually hard to tell a difference. well maybe you can tell. and if you can its not that much. I love being able to feel the road though

no fluid + power steering rack = destroyed steering rack sooner or later

I have no PS and no AC in my accord hybrid, i never used the AC anyway. And having no PS SUCKS in parking lots. But it feels great going down the road.

Is this true? I love not having my PS, but if this is true..then I am gonna put it back on....Anone comfirm this? I have been wondering this for a while. If it happens what would need to be replaced? Alos didn't some 4th gen preludes not come with power steering? What is the diffenrence between the two if some came with PS, and some came with out ps.
Thanks,
Josh

Ahh the perfect thread I'd like to know about the possible P.S. steering problem also. I've been thinking about taking my AC out.

I took my PS belt off for about 6 hrs. (5th gen)
When your at speed, its great! Did not notice so much a power increase, but you could really feel the road!!
Problem, trying to drive through the parking lot. I was afraid I was going to bend the steering wheel........ no fun. got old REAL quick.

Once you go AC, you'll never go back........

have you ever spun the ac pully when the its not engage, the pully is so free moving i dont see how any gain can be made. as for the power steering, it sucks below 10 mph, besides that its cool. i had mine off for a year and thought i didnt mind, then i put it bac kone day and love it more, now i only take it off at the track, it only takes like 2 mins to remove

also when i put it back it had a fairly quick leak... i poured a little brake fluid in it, which casues the seals to swell a bit, stopping the leak, been fine since 6 monthes later

You will not gain any horse power from removal of A/C. You will lose weight, as much as 33 lbs, not in your ride most likey, maybe 13 lbs. I removed all mine, and miss it, but then agian I rarely use it.

Power Steering removal for a daily driver, na, remove belt and see if you like it, then decide.
