I took a D15 motor and put an D16a6 intake manifold, ecu, trans, clutch, flywheel, and distributer on it and it's showing code's 3, 5, 7. Do i have a plug reversed. I know that there are 2 or 3 plugs on the intake manifold that are the same. Can sombody give me a link to a list of what all the codes are and what they mean? Need help please. Thanks Mike.

 

3,5 are the MAP sensor
7 Throttle position sensor

 

I'm getting code 17 now also. I found a vacuum line that was disconnected so i hooked it up and now the car runs fine but the check engine light comes on after a few minutes still 3,5,7 and now 17. Thanks i'll check it out.

 

i think the code 7 (if you're doing the dpfi-mpfi) is because you're supposed to switch the 2 outer wires on the tps connector

 

I used only the D15 block and head. Everything else is from a D16. The only reason i did this swap was to have a reliable motor. The intake manifold and sensors, ecu, harness ect all the electronics stayed the same. I actually loose HP doing the swap.
