Default 2009 Civic LX Coupe manual

Hey Guys,
Long time reader, 2nd post. I was searching on the forum and didn't see a Price paid post (perhaps we can get this stickied if enough people reply?). Since I'm getting a Civic LX coupe manual soon, I just wanted to see what prices some of you guys have paid, when you bought your cars, and where you bought the car. If you can keep the Out The Door (OTD) and sell price seperate that'd be awesome. I'll start. Right now the lowest sell price given to me by a dealer in Atl, Ga of $15,076 thats not including tax tag and title. I think its a good deal considering the invoice price of the car is $15.9k. Thoughts?

Thanks.

That is a good deal, but keep in mind that "invoice" is an arbitrary number assigned by Honda, not what the dealer actually paid.

my invoice number was received by edmunds. But yes i do agree if we knew how much dealership paid for cars, selling prices would be at least a few thousand cheaper. when a kia can go for under 10k and a civic goes for 16k+ i highly doubt theres 6k worth of "quality materials" but i do understand we pay for quality

just an update. I received an internet quote for $14074. Assuming this is not a bait and switch this would be an even better deal than the previous 15,079! I'd still like to get any thoughts on the matter from members.

from past experience internet quotes are to to get you in the door. best advice print out the internet quote and take it to the dealerships with you. if there serious and you are too tell them add tax, title and plates and you will drive away today.

Yeah make sure to print it out and bring it with you. Also I've gotten some internet quotes and on the very bottom in small print it says does not include addons like mudguards and etc. It also says many cars come included with addons so basically it will cost way more. It's always better to get a quote thats Tax title and plates included.
