It depends on what color you want it to be and what year and body style you currently have.

Remember this section covers two generations of cars and several body styles.

you could paint it, or you could bone up the cash and buy a nice black interior

I did the interior swap its not hard and you wont have to worry about scratching the paint either (or someone else scratching it, keys etc, etc)

I bought everything from ebay. now I'm much older and wiser I'd find your self a local "you pull-it" junk yard and wait for a coupe to arrive trick is to take a look through every few days.

It will look like garbage if you spray paint it. That is such a ghetto and ricey thing to do. I would go with the guy above and hope for a good junkyard find, or try and find some of the pieces here on the HT marketplace...

I did an interior swap from blue to black. Wasn't hard. You just have to find someone parting out a black interior coupe.

SEM Landau Black spray paint would be your best route to go if you wanna spray it.

any other spray cans just chip and sratch super easily, this paint provides a good finish and doesnt chip very easily. kinda pricey tho.

I have seen some interiors that are painted, and they did turn out fairly decent. If you idnt know it wasnt stock, you prolly couldnt tell. and sry to hijack the thread, but what car would i have to use to get a beige interior, preferably leather?

B.S. Ive seen em painted and it looks friggin brand new. Its def an option. Heres some pictures of a spray painted interior, tell me if you could tell that its been painted. I can also tell you that it does not smell, bubble, crack, chip, loose color, etc. It is very tough.

Before:After:EJ1Fernando's EJ1, heres his build thread

I dont think you can do the carpet lol. Too much moisture and stuff, I couldnt think of something that would last. Just get a black carpet, gotta pay to play sometimes.

Many many places online, just good SEM Landau Black. Here it is on amazon:

Ebay has it, carquest has it, your local autobody supplier should have it too. You might find it at autozone or walmart, who knows.
