Default lights not working, need help

my cluter lights and tail lights are not coming on and when i replace the fuse it blows it right away. ground maybe? if so which one and where at? any other suggestions?
and my drivers side headlight isnt coming on either. when i bought the car it had a shitty wire tuck that went through the wheel well and it ****ed up all the wires, so i ran new wires. but all im getting is a turn signal light, but it blinks twice as fast as the passenger side. and when i compared the passenger to the driver, it doesnt look the same. when i wired it i wired it all correctly to how the housings matched and how they were when they were messed up, but i think at one of the connectors something is wired wrong. anyone have a picture of all that wiring in that area? any help is appreciated, thanks.

Fuse 19 is blowing, right? Pry the dash lights dimmer switch out of the dash and unplug the connector. Turn the light ON to see whether fuse 19 no longer blows. If so, replace the dimmer switch.

Check whether fuse 22 is blown or the bulb is blown.

Check for a blown signal bulb or whether an incorrect signal bulb was installed.

yes fuse 19. i tried that and its still blowing the fuse.

fuse and bulbs are ok.

the bulb is ok. when i turn on the hazards it blinks at the right speed, but when i hit the turn signal thats when it blinks fast, and also shows the high beams blinking with it as well. like at the same speed, but i cant tell if the high beams are actually coming on due to the headlight being out.

You clearly have a short in the fuse 19 circuit, which also serves the taillights, front and rear parking lights, and the license plates lights. Carefully inspect each bulb socket and harness wires for damage and burning. The stereo and cigarette lighter are also on this circuit, so check there as well.

For the headlight, look for a bad bulb receptacle or a broken wire.

Blinker problem -- I think there's a problem with the G401 ground wire:

Ok on the back of my under dash fuse box i found a wire that is burnt. it comes out a green connector with a bunch of other wires. its like red with black, or vice versa, its hard to tell due to it being burnt. i followed it thinking it would go to the headlight harness, but it merges into a large group of wires that runs along the back of the firewall and to who knows where. does that group of wires run to the ecu? i pulled out the ecu to check for a burnt wire there, but none are, so maybe it stopped burning before it got to there? i was hoping it was so i could just de-pin at the ecu, and run a fresh wire all the way to the fuse box, would that work? and would you know where at the ecu to de-pin if that were the case? thanks for all the info and help so far too

The diagram above shows the rear of the dash fuse box. Which connector is the burned wire attached to?

Also see diagram below:

The burned RED/BLK wire is very likely the cause of fuse 19 blowing. Cut out and replace the damaged section of the wire.

well does it connect in at the ecu? Because it kept burning into the wire harness way back, and i hate to have to pull everything out from the back of my dash to replace it, so if i can just by-pass it from the ecu to the fuse box it would save me a ton of hassle. or does it split off somewhere under the dash? and thanks again for the diagram

Cut the burned Red/Blk wire (in such a way that will allow you to repair it later) and then check whether fuse 19 no longer blows when the lights are turned on. If the fuse doesn't blow, then also note which lights/components in the diagram don't work so that you know exactly which Red/Blk wire in the diagram is bad.

You cut the bad wire and fuse 19 stopped blowing, right? If so, something must not be working that gets power from a Red/Blk wire (see diagram). You need to find something on the fuse 19 circuit that doesn't work (due to cutting the bad wire).

Just to verify. You did cut the wire, right? If so, I think the bad wire serves the front parking lights. In the future, if you wish to have parking lights, then you may need to run new wires if you can't repair the bad one.

The last step for the cut bad wire is to insulate the end attached to the rear of the fuse box with electrical tape so that no bare wire can cause another electrical short in the future.

The dimming of the clock light is normal.

Have you inspected the driver's headlight bulb receptacle and the wires. Does the driver's high beam work?

yes i did cut it. thanks for all the help, I was practically pulling my hair out trying to figure out what was going on. I still need to get my turn signals on the drivers side to work properly. i looked for the box (G401) and if its mounted on the wall by the main harness then that seems to be fine. do you maybe have a diagram of the front headlight/signal wiring? i think its something there for some reason.

Okay, this may be an important clue. The driver's headlight and turn signal light share the same ground wire (G301). You want to make sure it is not corroded, broken, loose, or disconnected.

ok i checked the highbeams and nothing comes on, at least at the headlight, but it turns the turnsignal light on. it doesnt blink it just stays on solid. and when i hit the turn signal the highbeam indicator in the cluster blinks with it. so something between the high beams and turn signal are mixed up. everything on the right side works fine though.

Good. Check G301.

Was G301 disconnected? Do the low beam and blinker now also work?

yes. like i said i had to re-due that whole harness, so i just kinda of stuck that box to the car loosely. but now its grounded and the turn signal is the right speed and the high beams work, but no low beams still. also something i noticed is at g301 there are only 4 of the 6 plugs being used. but on the right side(G301 on passenger side), 5 of the 6 are being used. maybe the fifth is for the fan or horn though?
