Can you give some more information? Is this a race car? Street/track car? What type of car at all?

Disregarding all those questions, the BEST way is to swap in a new sunroof-less roof panel. But that may not be legal for whatever class you're running in, if you're in a class at all. That's also potentially the most expensive and most intensive. So if money/time/effort is a factor, forget it.

Ok, then follow this link, and read away: https://honda-tech.com/search.php?searchid=1971079

FYI, I searched for "sunroof" and selected "Titles only" which limits the subjects to what are probably more pertinent threads, and then selected "Roadrace/Autox" forum, since that's the area that would cover roof plugs (as you know, since you posted here).

For reference, most sunroof plugs ARE DIY. There aren't many companies selling a kit. If you know of any others than what you listed (or the one you listed with a working website) that'd be helpful.

Edit: Here's the correct link: http://www.lighterfaster.com/4436/index.html
but I don't know how active/current it is. A phone call would be necessary, and the site does quote a $400 shipped price.

you can get just the center section of an rs roof skin. just some spot welds that hold it in. or you can buy a sunroof plug. i got one of those carbon ones, but you can make one from aluminum for ALOT less money.

I am actually currently working on pre-cut sheet metal sunroof deletes with all hardware for Honda's. Sometimes people rather not spend $400 on carbon fiber. What car is this for?

I found a lightly damaged (in the corners) Suzuki Aerio hood and had the bodyshop cut off the skeleton and they bonded it in place with glue and rivets. A couple of hours later and $30.00 bux paid, I had a sunroof plug for my 93 Si hatch.

Ain't the prettiest thing, but I'm happy for what it cost.

What I did to mine was make a template of the sunroof went to the junkyard found a 1993 corolla placed the template on the roof cut it out with some metal sheers. Then I brought it back grind around the hole where my old sunroof used to sit then line up the metal panel that I cut with the hole hold it in place with weights or clamps then carefully tack weld it from the inside of the car spacing my welds about 1 foot apart until it was sealed. then to smooth things out up top i used metal filler around the seem then sanded then use lightweight filler then sanded again then I used body glaze to seal it followed by primer sealer. I also just tacked in 3 braces along in the inside to give it a little strength but I found later that I did not need to do this as the metal panel I used does not make any noise when I hit a bump nor does it move at all unless an acorn hits it damn squirrels! I am working on a custom headliner to fit now but it shaved a lot of weight and looks 100 % stock!! I will have to put some pictures up!

I replace my sun roof for my CRX si with a DX it was not to hard all you need a spot weld remover bit and a welder it only cost me around $300 with install and roof. This would be a great time to do you roll cage gl. Oh yeah you have to remove the windows and hatch etc.
