i have an EP3 steering wheel on my CL and took off the cruise control buttons on the side. did the EP3 CTR come without cruise control? if so is there like an OEM plastic cover i can screw on to where the exposed insides of the wheel are?

so im wondering if i can some how buy some kind of plastic cover over the exposed spot on the wheel? are USDM EP3 wheels that much different from CTR's?

 

Same thing as far as i know you can buy the plastic for the EP3 wheel and put it on there...but its probably not cheap that way...Ive been thinking about that. a friend has my old ep3 wheel and i wanna buy the DC5/ep3r wheel and swap plastics with him cause he dont have cruise...so i can get my cruise back when i buy the DC5 wheel

 

makes sense. do you think this plastic cover could be bought at a US honda dealership. i work for honda, ill check the parts department today if i get the time. i dont see how it would be expensive though.

 

Theyre actually the cheapest honda plastic peices ive ever seen...the center console has a peice thats as big as my thumb thats 17 bucks...the cover is 8 and the other pieces that cover up screws are like 3 or so. So yeh not to bad...Im gonna be buying a dc5r wheel here soon and an airbag from a rsx or ep3 whichever is cheaper to make a usable dc5r wheel with two stage airbag

 

yea i need a DC5 airbag/cover since i dont actually own a Honda.

 

you can use the WHOLE dc5R wheel and airbag cover remove the airbag and replace with a dc5s airbag theres a writeup on clubrsx

thats the point. i took it off. i just want a some kind of plastic cover. if the CTR and the USDM EP3 wheel are exact, then i should somehow be able to get a plastic cover from somewhere.
