Hey every1,

I currently replaced my head, since it blew about a year ago, and haven't had time to fix it or the money. So I replaced the head, which was from a 1986 Civic/Crx, and the head was about an inch to 2 inches taller than the last head i had. I had a pe4, and replaced it with a pe7. Now I just dropped it first yesterday, with the new head, water pump, oil filter, and timing belt, and it's now making a click, which i think may be my distributor. Also now it seems to have an exhaust leak, and will sometimes blow white smoke, (probably the leak) any ideas of what may be wrong? the clicking/exhaust leak? Also the battery once it sits over night will go dead, and when running at first sometimes will cut out and stop the engine.

 

sounds like a number of things are wrong.

the white smoke mean you have coolant or water being combusted.

the battery being dead could either be a bad battery since you say its been chillin for a year, if its good then it sounds like your alternator is not working properly.

as far as the click, can you give more details...such as it where its coming from etc....
