My friend has a 2008 Honda Civic EX-L and the plastic covering over her speedometer is cracked, so I want to replace it for her. I've been looking online for a new one, but the only site I could find that sold instrument cluster parts is this:

Can someone please tell me which part is the plastic covering over the speedometer? I cannot for the life of me read those black and white charts with the numbers all over them... I'd appreciate the help because she was pretty upset when she discovered the cracks in it.

if its an 08 shouldnt it still be under warranty?

Roughly $60 seems kinda pricy though. I'll check out the warranty. I'm not sure how many miles she has on the car, so it might have expired by now.

Yeah, I got the plastic covering for $5 for my Saturn not too long ago at a junkyard. Too bad it'd be next to impossible to find a newer honda at a yard.

I'll shoot for the warranty option
