no one can HELP you pick a new setup. like everyone says to every other person that asks these questions. its what YOU want to get out of it, how much boost you wanna run how much torque and hp you want. you gotta do research brotha. go on wikipedia and look up all the different honda motors and their specs. then look around on HT or other forums and see which motors are being sold for how much.

look around on here for boosted cars and ask them what they are running. they will probably be nice and help out.

Hmm... you could build for about 300hp assuming you can get a good price on a quality turbo. you haven't mentioned what turbo you have on now so I'm assuming it's nothing special and probably can't put out much more than it's 5psi that you have it at now. Generally stay away from ebay chinese knock-off's as it's a risk you are taking with those heaps. Maybe you can score a used one and rebuild it. In my opinion would be totally pointless to build the motor up if you don't have a higher hp turbo to throw on there. At that point you may need a new exhaust manifold to support your turbo. This may also require an external waste gate. .... and don't forget fuel management, tuning, MAP sensor, and a boost controller (if you need one).

Anyway, you will want to look into rods. That's the weak point once you get over the low 200hp mark.
A set of aftermarket Vitara pistons can take a complete build well into the 400hp zone. No sense in buying pricey slugs if you can save a few on something else that works just as well.
Of course you will need bigger injectors. 700cc should do.
A cam might be nice. Depending on the cam you may need new springs, retainers, etc. Might as well put in some turbo happy valves if you have the head apart.

$1500? good luck.
