Went out last night to start the car and all I hear is a single CLICK when I turn the key ...
All the lights worked and didn't dim too bad but I decided to jump it anyway and give that a try ... nothing.
I'm thinking the starter went out, can anyone confirm? Thanks

check the starters power conections
check the starters fuse
if both of those are good and you still get nothing try hitting the sarter with a blunt object and then try to start the car. it sounds silly I know, but it has worked for me quite a few times.
if you try hitting it and it works your starter is on its way out and will need to be replaced.
