Default injector seal on IM

Question:

Do I need to use them?
Are there any downsides on not using them?

Why would you leave them out? Are you running different injectors?

My RC injectors made it impossible for me to run them on my JRSC manifold. The injector nozzle is much wider than the stock injector.

so what did you do? just run w/out the rubber injector insulator?

Would it get too hot since its touching the IM?
