Icon2 HELP I'm doing an obd1 swap in an obd2 automatic car ....

anyways, my question is... all the obd2 to obd1 jumper harnesses i can find are for manual transmissions only... the only automatic one i have found is rywire for $250 http://rywire.com/store/automatic-ob...9537364f2a8ad7 which is a little out of my budget for a jumper harness, anywho is there a way to flash and obd1 ecu to not read the automatic transmission sensors so it will let me shift from park to drive?

You'll have to run an OBD2A P2P ECU (assuming you're refering to the JDM D15B Vtec) If its non vtec run a P2E. You can't run an OBD1 ECU, period, getting the tranny out of park isn't really a big deal, but it wont shift right with an OBD1 ECU.

Just thought i'd add, your timing is probably going to be a little off, theres not really a whole lot you can do about it. just hope its close enough that it works alright.
