1990 Honda Accord Paint Job Question
How do we know what color to buy without asking anyone for help? Is there any info on or in the car that will give me the answer? My Accord is the typical tanish color.

Try calling the nearby Honda dealer and ask for Parts Dept. Tell them your VIN and maybe they can tell you your color on a 1990. I did for my 1996 Accord and ordered a touch-up paint bottle from them......

Are you just trying to buy a bottle of touchup paint? The exterior color code should be on a decal on the driver's door jamb, along with other basic information on the car (VIN, tire pressure, interior color code, etc).

Inside of the door jam there is a paint code. For example mine is YR503M, which is rosewood brown. Which is impossible to find at the store. It usually needs to be ordered.
