Icon2 Clutch problem at staging lights

I want to see if you guys can provide me some input here on an issue I am having with my car/clutch.
I used to run an ACT clutch 6 puck non sprung before and never had this problem. All started after I installed another performance clutch after my ACT finally was gone. So with the new clutch, I put my car in 1st gear, clutch pedal is to the floor, bring the rpm up to 7800-8000 rpm for launch, anything past 7000 rpm makes the car start moving a forward. I bleed the fluid....helps but not much. I bought a new clutch master cylinder and slave. Bleed the fluid again. This helps a bit more but car is still moving. The car moves when revs are past 7400 rpm. It does not move predicatably. At times it does and times it doesnt. I checked for leaks and none. Can this perfomance clutch not be balanced or faulty? It only does this past high rpms and does it intermitenally. Is this a common problem with off brand perf clutches? Have you guys had this problem before? It is causing me to trip the staging lights and keep red lighting. I know , I know.... I should be using the hand brake to hold the car but for the life of me I can't get used to the hand brake.

Thanks for your help and insights!!

are you overextending the pressure plate? my cable clutch did this once, i added some freeplay to it (pulled it less overall) and it went away

What kind of ACT clutch you have before? Which level?
What kind do you have now? Is it equivalent with what you had before? Harsher?

Since mine is hydraulic instead of cable, I should try adjusting my pedal to add some freeplay right? I will try this.

Before I had my old stock ITR pressure plate with an ACT 6 puck non-sprung disk. It was not that harsh and min chatter. Not bad at all. I liked this setup a lot.

Now I have a so called stage 2 clutch that has a very oem feel to it. The clutch disk is a full face disk. The new clutch is not harsh at all. Pedal pressure is slightly more firm than oem is.

Where is the pedal during engagement? It could be simple as a pedal adjustment.

I had a ACT extreme 4puck unsprung and had this problem also had it with the same extreme pressure plate with regular full face heavy duty disc. Also experienced it on a competition Clutch 6puck sprung setup I never did manage to stop it but I was launching lower so it didnt bother me too much.

As far as I could tell even with the clutch to the floor it wasnt disengaging completely causing the car to jump.I tried a longer slave rod and that didnt help so I left it well alone lol

I had a cc stage 4 do the same thing your describing. If I launched over 7k it would "walk" forward on me and I would have to hold the e-brake to keep from red-lighting. Clutch was adjusted the best I could get it. Never did figure it out. Ending up changing my setup and went with turbo and a CC stage 5. I dont need to launch very high now so I couldnt tell if it still did it.

the problem is the pressure plate, at high RPMS the spinning force is making it move, infact some clutch companys like centerforce add weights to certain spots on the PP to help increase clamp load in higher RPMS relying on this same phenomena.

On actual engagement it is about half way on pedal.

I tried adjusting it again last night in both freeplay and engagement point.
Made no difference.
I am done with it, I am going to drop the tranny and just change the clutch out.
