There is no point in arguing with people in their sales threads.
The thread originator should furnish the VIN number to interested potential buyers in order for them to be able to research the vehicle, and the thread originator should explain why the VIN plate is missing from the normal windscreen area. (A poster alleged that it is missing, but there's no way to know for sure from the photos that it is missing.)
The key to avoiding thread fights in the sales forums is to provide the fullest disclosure that is reasonable.

Good point, George.
As an interested party, I wish to see pictures of the Original VIN number stickers on the hood and fenders. If the front bumper cover is not original, that is fine. I'd also like to see a pic of the VIN stickers on the rear bumper and hatch please. I'm looking for a clean base which is why I want to see these. I do not have to be able to read the VIN, I just want to see that the VIN is present. If you want, you can PM me the VIN so I can carfax it. I may be interested in the car outright for the right price. True mileage does not concern me. However, a car that truly has every original panel still on it does.
If you don't mind, I'd also like to see close up pics of the markings on the headlights. Where they say Stanley, DEPO, TYC, etc. If you could jack the car up and get me one pic of the underside as I'd like to see that. Obviously, a low mile car like this will be so clean, you'll be able to nearly eat off of it (well, once it's wiped down). Pic of the VIN on the dash (legible) and a pic of the VIN that is stamped into the firewall by the fuel filter is what I'd like to see so I can carfax the car.
Pics please. AS soon as you get a chance. Also, PM me your bottom dollar as I may be able to swing it very soon.

If the above is too cluttered, here is a quick summary:
1. Picture of VIN sticker on hood.
2. Picture of VIN sticker on driver side fender.
3. Picture of VIN sticker on passenger side fender.
4. Pic of original emissions stickers
5. Pic of the manufacturer marking on the driver headlight
6. Pic of the manufacturer marking on the passenger headlight
7. Pic of VIN on rear bumper
8. Pic of VIN on rear hatch
9. VIN number so carfax can be run.
10. You said you have carfax already in hand. If that's true, just forget about line item 9 and take pics of the full CarFax report. Most importantly, accident history and odometer history.
11. One pic of underside of car showing lack of rust and cleanliness of 28,XXX mile car
Unfortunately, I have a feeling you are not considering me a serious buyer. Very unfortunate for you that I'm probably the most serious buyer that has posted in this thread. Yes, cash in hand. Yes, only thing holding me up is lack of pictures.
Here is what I am looking for pics of. Here is a picture of my 240,000 mile (two hundred forty thousand miles) engine compartment of my old Integra. I have circled the VIN stickers in red so you know what I'm looking for. Figured maybe you did not understand what I was looking for so here you go:

i can vouch for Mr RYANA. the man speaks the truth. his world is platinum. and he wont screw around with asking more than twice. if u want to sell and it is legit, id be on my rockets to get the **** done.
For whatever it's worth, most of what you're asking for is reasonable, it seems to me. Also, for whatever it's worth, I'd recommend that since it's an ongoing issue it might be a good idea to post the VIN.
i vouch for ryan... if the dude wont furnish a VIN number then something definetly smells fishy here.
besides....that looks like a ROUGH 28,000 mile car lol
