Is there a power difference between a y7 and y8 intake manifold???

 

yes..
they y8 looks like a normall honda manifold in the sence of where the tb is at,
but the y7 is totaly different. the runners come right of the head into a colecter looking thing and the tb bolts to that. im pretty sure its the only im form the honda that looks this way

yes, there is. but i think the y8 mani does not fit on the y7 head i think. Search. This is why ppl do the minime swap ie; y8 vtec head on to y7 non vtec block and such. I think ts like a few guaranteed hp gain.

 

yes the y8 does fit the y7 the are the same motor just with out vtec on the y7
yes your better off swaping the whole y8 head on in my opinon but just the im will work just fine.

 

i do the swap y8 im with y7 head...you can feel the diference in high rpm,,,,theres a How to... here and in many places easy 123
