Default EG Half Rad

I see people installing them at an angle to allow room for turbo systems. I have a turbo system in my eg and am having a clearance issue, and was thinking of setting up the radiator that way. My question is, I see people with this setup, and no brackets on the top to hold it to the frame. How do they do it?

Here's an example (sorry to the fellow member that I snaked the pic from)

I asked the member but haven't gotten an answer yet, so I thought I'd post a new thread.

Here's a pic of my setup. Can't see it in the pic, but the 90 degree coupler that comes off the compressor housing barely hits the radiator. If I can move the radiator 1 inch to the passenger side, I can clear it. I could clock the compressor housing, but then the charge pipe would be way too close to the downpipe (its already about 1" away). I have a slim fan, and can see that everything will clear, I'm just unsure of a safe way to mount everything.

that guy probably just had it there for the picture.. i dont think you can have the radiator just sitting there like that its gonna bounce around.. only thing i can think of is getting a new manifold.. ware did you get that kit from?

If you cut your lower radiator mounts off and moved them down, would it allow the radiator to slide under the top portion of the radiator support panel?
Alternatively, you could always cut your support panel. I would advise against it, for various reasons, but it would physically allow the radiator to be positioned more towards the passenger side.

The Integras stock radiator is a single core. Would that possibly fit and allow room for the pipe while providing the same cooling your double core, half rad has? If you trim a tiny bit of the rad support panel, and shorten the little sheet metal brackets to move the radiator closer to the support panel, maybe that would provide more clearance. Just an idea.

I hope you guys realize that the coolant reservoir bracket does have holes so you can fabricate some kind mounting bracket instead of leaving it "dangling" near the upper radiator hose.
