Hello all, im currently torn between my to great cars, ill try to keep the tech on this, instread of peope crying about no tech. I have a 1999 Honda Prelude, h22a4 normal mods, but it has a morbid falt the crankshaft is bent at the pulley, my other car is a mint 88 crx, super clean, with a mpfii conversion with a basically brand new d15b vtec If you had a choice to build one of these which one would it be?

 

i would say you could probably sell the crx for more cause its running but i would keep the crx.

 

Keep the Prelude, a new long block will only set you back $1000.00.

 

Well why sell either one? If its money issues then I'd sell the crx and fix the prelude it will net you more money in the long run when its running then the crx ever will. If I was in your shoes though I'd keep both. Drive the crx and save money for parts for the prelude. It's all your call but you will probably hate your self for selling either. Plus selling a broken down car is hard unless you find the right buyer who knows what its worth also.

how'd you bend the crank shaft of the lude? i'd probably ditch the lude, less potential me thinks. although to be honest i'd store the rex in some sort of automotive storage and fix the crank on the lude (can be done in a weekend w the correct tools) and then dd the lude while building the crx

 

Haha I just noticed you said to build. I'd fix the rex and dd and build the prelude.

 

part out the lude, get better gas milage, and turbo or drug it. as well as the typical visual mods

 

the prelude is a boat that simple the crx will surpass it in every way

 

Sell the lude and DD the rex.
Its hard to find mint crx's.
