Awesome, I have been wanting to do this to mine for a while now. Grind everything smooth, remove extra mounting tabs, etc, but probably painted suspension black. Yellow looks cool though, can't wait for a pic of this stuff on the car

Did they sandblast and prime it first? I'm sure they did, just curious....

speak of the devil, i actually just finished doing this today lol. I only put poly bushings in the upper control arms though, the lower control arms remained stock since they were mint to begin with. Mine were done silver though.

ive had the underside shot blasted and re undersealed (loads of salt on the roads over here in winter = rusts faster)

i choose yellow cause it bright and the contrast with the red bushings, i was going to go for tein green but they cudnt match the colour.

what gave you the idea of doing that instead of just upgrading LCA and subframe bar and stuff?

 

the fact preludes dont have upgradeable LCA's would be the most likely cause.

 

I expected to see a 5-lug conversion. Is it allowed?

 

im not that fussed about 5 lug.

 

ive ordered some adjustable "toe" bars.
the car used to have 4WS, ditched that cause it was mega heavy. car should be under 2200lbs when done.......... easy

 

I have those Megan 'toe bars' and they are pretty good overall. Very easy to adjust and good quality. I think I made a thread about it if you're interested...

Because it's not a Civic and no one makes that stuff for Preludes
