Default Re-Installing End Links

I just insatalled the ST sway bars and what a big difference this thing makes. Especially in the twisties.

Anyway how do you properly reinstall the bushings or those red rubber things. Do you have to make it very tight that the rubber actually being pressed to much that it deforms or just like the way you see it before you install it just a little tight and there should be a play in the endlinks?

In this picture the car is in the ground

I hope I make my self clear.

Without the gaps. Tight. No play.

But, the angle should not be that extreme between the ARB and the endlink. Looks like the upper endlink mount should be spaced further away from whatever that is it is horizontally bolted to.

You could even consider cutting the bushings on an angle, to get them to sit flush without deforming them too much. Eventually, the poly will deform from being squished on the angle, and will need to be re-tightened as it self clearances, which is why I mention considering cutting.

If it were mine, I'd crank em down as tight as possible and accept that they will have a short lifespan. But, as I currently run spherical bearings on my rear ARB, I'm certainly not a fan of bushing slop.
