I have the 5901, but I don't want to install remote start. What I'm confused about is that it has a "flex relay"
So I need help wiring this thing up, I tried cross referencing the wire names from the 5900SST that I installed in my coupe last year, but this "flex relay" is throwing me off.
H3 Heavy Gauge, 10-pin connector
1-Pink = Ignition 1 Input/Output
2-Red/White = (+) (30A) Fused Ignition 2 / Flex Relay Input #87
3-Orange = Accessory Output
4-Violet = Starter Output
5-Green = Starter Input
6-Red = (+) (30A) Fused Ignition 1 Relay Input
7-Pink/White = (+) Ignition 2 Flex Relay Output
8-Pink/Black = 87a Of Ignition 2 Flex Relay
9-Red Black = (+) (30A) Fused Accessory/Starter Relay Input
10-Not Used
Only thing I did was De-pin the 3-Orange wire.
Please help clarify on how to wire this up.

All you have to do is de-pin everything but 1-pink. Use that wire to your ignition input source. Make sure you have a back up battery on your new alarm.
Use the pink ignition wire and the Violet and green wire out of the heavy gauge harness. The pink wire will act like an ignition sensing wire for the security system, and the violet and green wires are the starter kill of the security system.

Use the ground while arm wire- Orange. To control a relay to kill the main relay. You can also add a switch to the relay to keep the it going if the theif so happens to find the brain. Starter kill can be bypassed to easy by push starting the car or tapping 12 volts to the starter.

Thanks for the responses. I have battery backup, breakage sensor, tilt sensor, and proximity sensor... I'm also adding trunk release to it as well.
So I won't be using this flex relay this sytem has.....

I have a 1999 Honda Accord LX that I am in the process of installing a Viper 5901. I am getting stuck on the heavy gauge wire harness. When I attach all wires that are mentioned in the beginning of this post and plug the harness in the car will not start. I disconnected all the wires and connected them one by one until i noticed that when I connect the Pink Wire thats when the car will not start. Any sugestions on what I can be doing wrong? Please help as I am in the middle of install.
