I want to upgrade my 84 Civic
Exterior doesn't matter to me, the car's in great shape.
What I want to know is what to do to it to make it faster, and the best way to do it.
I drive a 2004 Audi A4 1.8T now, but the insurance is a bitch, so I'm taking the 84 Civic I inherited from my grandpa. That being said, I have to admit my knowledge of cars if fairly limited. I know in my Audi I wanted to get a stage one ECU chip upgrade, but I don't know if I should put a turbo in the civic, a supercharger in it, or either. I just want to get the HP up a bit, and I don't care how big my rims are, or about the wing, and it doesn't need to be loud. I just need to know how to make this bitch faster. Help me out?

There isn't much to do with that to get it even close to the audi but you can try a bit...
A free flowing exhaust system would help along with a header and adjust the timing slightly advanced.
If you change the tires to a smaller diameter it would give you better acceleration off the line but you would lose top speed.
Go to red pepper racing . com they have all the info you need.
cheers
