Default extended top hats?

i think i remember seeing this some where along time ago. and im wondering if its worth it to do it? i get the idea shocks have more travel with a smaller spring seems like it would help but i never really see people that have them. also how much could you extend the front ones before they hit the hood? i plan on cutting my stock ones then welding in a peice of pipe. wont cost more then 5 bucks.

Its a nice thing to have because of the added shock travel that allows you to go lower without running the risk of being TOO low for your shocks to handle.

The amount of extension possible without hitting the hood is dependent on the shock used. A koni sport shock sticks out more than a OEM shock.

I am running 1.25" all around without a problem
