extended top hats?
i think i remember seeing this some where along time ago. and im wondering if its worth it to do it? i get the idea shocks have more travel with a smaller spring seems like it would help but i never really see people that have them. also how much could you extend the front ones before they hit the hood? i plan on cutting my stock ones then welding in a peice of pipe. wont cost more then 5 bucks.
they are worth it if your kinda low...Ground Control sells them both front and back i beleive...and i wouldnt do no more than 1.25 for the front...i could be wrong though...

The amount of extension possible without hitting the hood is dependent on the shock used. A koni sport shock sticks out more than a OEM shock.
I am running 1.25" all around without a problem
