oil pan gasket

Default oil pan gasket

so i ran up a curb and put a huge dent in the oil pan on my b20 and i got another pan off a b18a there the same right? i was wondering if your supposed to use some kind of sealant on the new gasket? its a rubber gasket.

just the gasket. and a felpro one is definately a good choice unless you are going to go with a honda one. Make sure and torque it to the correct specs very important

the oil pan bolts are only to be torqued to like 10lbs, I remember checking a long time ago.

Yes, the shop manual calls for Hondabond to be applied at certain points. Get it at a motorcycle shop, and it will be about half what the Honda auto dealer parts departments charge. Use a shop manual for guidance, or try the free one at autozone.com for your Civic.
