Default Ls/Vtec swapped crx getting bad gas mileage...bogs around 3k rpm.

im getting around 200 miles to the tank and dont know what the problem is.

i got rid of all those purge solenoids on the firewall and now all i have is the map sensor

car pulls very hard WOT doesnt bog or anything, but when im just driving regular it starts to bog/hesitate around 3k rpm.

It also idles higher then normal, like around 1500, i just slightly tap the gas and goes back down to around 800.

could it be my IACV starting to go bad? i checked my vaccum lines their all good.

as far as the gas mileage and the bogging, could that be the o2 sensors? im running a PR3 B16 ecu.

any help is greatly appreciated.

anyone had/have a problem like this?

car sputters every once in a while, doesnt do it if im at WOT.

and gas mileage sucks...o2 sensors? will that cause the car to sputter?

Is this city mileage? If it is, I wouldn't worry about it. I only get about 20 mpg in the city also. You didn't say anything about being tuned. You are tuned, aren't you?

i am untuned, running an OBD0 b16 ecu (PR3) stock ls pistons...

its gotta be something with my o2 sensors, i have both of them plugged in, thats when it bogs, if i unplug both of them, or just the 2nd one it wont bog, but still get the same gas mileage, like around 15mpg

every once in a while i get a check engine light too, never checked to see wat code it is, cause all i do is turn the car off and turn it back on and it resets

i only get that like once every other week

Check the CEL, address the issue(s). Get some cam gears, adjust them. Then get it tuned

BTW, how are you getting 200 miles to a tank @ 15 mpg?

aight, i will check the CEL...and i never calculated how many mpg i get, i just know i get around 200-250 to the tank

i think i might just convert to obd1 see if that fixes anything.
