Default Alpine or Kenwood

I'm going to replace my old cd player with a new one. I have narrowed down my choices to either a alpine or a kenwood that are both in the 200 dollar area in price. Has anyone had any bad times with either of the brands. I only want sound quality not any bass or anything so if anyone could post there experiences with either brand I would appreciate it.

I like and always have had ///Alpine head units.. I bought mid upper to top of the line models only and I love the features and sound quality the mid upper to top models have to offer... Kenwoods are nice but I think their a little too "busy" for me.. theres too much on the display and the buttons on a lot of the units are too small.. I've always upgraded my ///Alpine units before they have broken.. I've never had one break on me and the sound quality is great.. but then again theres going to be people who've had broken units w/ all brands.. its all down to preference.. both are good companies..
