What size piping for NA car

Default What size piping for NA car

I just got a b16
what size piping should i get with an es muffler?
2.25 or 2.5?

2.25 should be just fine.
although you may want to go with 2.5 if you're planning on going forced induction

2.5" is the biggest i would go for N/A. For turbo go 3"

If if the Header had a 2.5" collector on it (but was still 4-2-1) what size then, any real difference in power between the two sizes?

You may want to stay with 2.25. 2.5 will probably rob some of your low end. Is it basically stock or are you building it? Also what will you be doing with the car? Drag racing, auto cross, etc..

Depends on how much work you are going to do to the car. Largest I'd go is 2.5 with a lot of other work ie i/h/e high flow cat, cams,im, etc. 2.25 is a good size generally

yeah I am gonna go with 2.25
Not planning to do too much since I already spent a ton on a 500 car.
Yeah going NA with this car since FI is so unpredictable
