or are they hellacisouly monsterous? could get a killer deal on 8 potenza r comps but man, they look like balloons. i think the tire height is 24.6in va 23.4 for a 195/55 (oem civic 15 size)

Dont... I use 205/50-15 Nt-01's and same in Azenas a 60 will be almost a 5" sidewall. gives you a 24.68504 tall tire, on a 60 vs a 23.125 on 50 so you CG is 1.5" higher. Personaly having ran everything from 14-17"rims on my Honda I have found that the 15 is a perfect size. I love me Team Dynamic with a set of Hoosier R6 on the track and Volk 28 with Falkens on the street, or the Nitto's they are just loud. In the snow I run Oz rims Blizzak tires.

 

i would LOVE to get my hands on the hankook rs2 z212 in a 225/45/15 but im in japan, and we just plain, flat out can not get those here. i know i know, it sounds nuts.... but 205/50s are almost non existent and 225/45s are sasquatch/santa claus.

 

Conan, I PM'd you, but there have to be some kind of available 15" tires. Maybe ask at the local race shops?

 

Your ride height and offset will have to do a lot with fitment. My only experience is with the 92-95 civic chassis. I tried to use a tire with a 24.9" diameter and it was way to big.
