trunk latch problems
anyone had problems with their trunk latch not catching. It seems like the plastic piece on the locking mechanism has worn down and it won't flip over the metal piece on the actual trunk.
will it close if you slam it down hard??
cause if it does close when u slam it, check on each side at the bottom of the trunk lid, theres two rubber pieces that screw in and out that help the trunk to stop rattleing, those could be screwed out too far and the trunk is just hitting those and bouncing off them everytime, this happened to me, the farther you screw those out, the harder it is to close the hatch.
so try screwing them in a bit, and see if it closes, if it didnt, try checking your latch cable, or maybe you just need to grease/oil the latch itself
