For those who have EF+bseries+DA radiator, what fan are you using?
When I had my stock EF radiator, the fan cleared just fine but now that I changed out to DA dual core radiator (much thicker) it seems like there no room for a OEM fan.

get a slim fan from auto zone pepboyz or any auto parts store

 

I search on the autozone website and could not find anything.

 

The stock fan fits fine, I actually used a da fan. its a five blade fan(instead of 4 for the crx/civic) and has a bigger more powerful motor. I only had to "notch" a small piece of plastic on the fan to clear the part of the block that sticks out by the b16a stamp. And this was actually with a thicker 3 core aluminum da rad. but your mounts play a part as well. the hasport mounts sit the engine about 3/4" farther back than other mounts. so the front clearance can be different depending on the mounts.

And dont use those slim fans they suck and dont pull nearly as many cfms as the stock fan(most of the problem is they dont have a proper shroud) just mod your stock one it will work

your bring up the point of the hasports sitting the motor back further, but what about the avid mounts? will they place the motor differently? kinda need to know cause im gona be using a hasport linkage and i need **** to fit right.

what size is that mishmoto fan? 12' - 14'
how much cfm @ what amp usage?

 

dont go by the quoted cfm rating the slim fans state they lie. I had a overheating problem and thought it was a headgasket issue, I swapped 2 14" slim fans out for 1 stock da fan and it cools much better.

 

i got a stock ef fan on my da radiator fits just fine.
