Default Clearance issues with twin disc?

So I installed a twin disc in my YS1 trans, ordered it for a cable trans, and the pressure plate is rubbing on the bolt that holds the throw out fork onto the clutch arm shaft. Anyone else ever have this problem?? It's the oem bolt, I used their throw out bearing. Also the throw out bearing provided rides the diaphram on the inner sleeve, instead of the bearing portion of the throw out. Any insight?

aluminum ring is where the bolt is hitting

The bolt, and some shavings

I had the same problem and I just grinded the bolt down

IDK, their directions said to use the throw out bearing provided (which looks like OEM style) so I did

bump for pics added

Hmm, I have a CM twin in my cable tranny. I don't think it's touching but I'm curious now. I'm going to be pulling the current tranny in a couple days for a GSR YS1, so I'll know then.

Yeah, you can just trim that bolt or find one with a button head. The plastic on the throwout bearing should have been trimmed. If it was not, you can grind it off yourself.

thanks, im still going to call comp tomorrow. I was thinking about trimming the plastic back, and milling down the bolt head, as well as a little bit on the fork to recess the bolt head down a little more?

awesome, thanks for the input. I was stoked to fire off the new build , then devestated to see aluminum shavings flying from my bell housing

how did you get the bellhousing to mate up to the block if it was rubbing?

it slid in rather easy, and turned over by hand in the car with axles in (was a little stiff though, attributed it to fresh build and spool/dragging brakes)
