Can anyone explain to me what I have to do to swap my 97 abs unit with a 98+ abs unit...I'm taking my car in for paint and I'm gonna throw on my hid jdm headlights...my 97 abs unit is too big, I'd rather swap it with the 98-01 unit instead of relocating my 97 unit or getting rid of it all together...

"Yea the 98+ ABS is smaller so it has clearance for the balast. Like what djtony5 either convert your ABS to the 98' or... which i don't really recommend, just don't mount the balast on the headlights and find a differnt spot to mount it. I've seen it done on a 96' teg where he mounted his balast somewhere else and left his ABS alone"
