Heavy vibraion after swap..Balancer shafts out of time?
Hey so I just had another h22a installed. Im now getting heavy vibration through out the rpms, moving or not, so I can tell its the engine itself.
I do have innovative mounts but it wasnt this bad with the last h22. We played with the mounts a little bit and it made it a little better but something is still not right.
I've been looking around and it seems possible that my balencer shaft may not be positioned correctly. I did have my mech put on new timing components from the last motor so. He got a new honda balncer shaft belt and he left the timing belt on there that came with it since he said it looked better than the one off my "old" motor.
I guess my next step is to have him double check the balancer shaft timing. I just wanted to get you guys' opinion on the situation. Thanks!!!

Well, i can at least speculate
First thing that comes to mind would be the condition of your motor mounts. This would be a good thing to check. Also, can you confirm that the motor came with balance shafts?

if the balancer shaft belt is on wrong, even by a tooth, it will cause heavy vibration within the motor.
If I were you, I would just take the balance shaft off completely, that will eleminate the vibration. It does vibrate a tad, but not as much as if the belt was on wrong.

Yeah, I would also say just take the balancer shaft belt off and see if the vibrations go away. If you don't want to remove the timing belt, then just cut it. Won't make much difference if it is there or not...
