Help whats a good suspension setup
need some help building my ej1 im trying to set it up for road racing/autocross events around my area and im trying to figure out a good suspension for a daily driven car that will be used on the weekend's for track use your advice and opinions are welcomed
Whats your experience level?
Before you can drive fast you have to know how to drive it.
I am not talking from how long have you had your license stand point.
Start bone stock. maybe some road and track tires.
Go get some seat time, and as you progress you can add parts.
The common mistake is newbies want to build a car with a million parts, and they have no clue what part does what to a car and how it affects it. More times than not they end up buying unecessary parts that either have no effect or negative. Spending money on something that doesn't benefit you is a waste. You can spend it on something else.
This question has been asked a million times and will probably be asked a million more times until the MODS. put a sticky on how to get started, and what to do.
I love it that we get new people interested everyday but answering the same question many times a week gets old.
Bone stock... seat time!!!
Searching also helps alot. It's not the best search engine but it does help...
If you have to read ten threads on suspension, cages, exhaust, tires, seats, harnesses, and engines... Read it. Read it all. take notes compare it to what you want.
You'll find varying opinions and varying preferences, and varying budgets.
You'll also see common bonds between issues too. There are archived threads that will help you make informed decisions, and give great guidance. Search!!
If you read... (i know its hard) but you can do it.. You'll find you answer your own questions.
MODS please start on some stickys!!!
BTW I dont mind being PM'd its a good way to get first hand information, and start a good racing friendship.

ok thanks for the info and i have about a years worth of seat time doing autocrossing in my area i have been using a pretty basic setup (skunk2 springs, tokico blues) and now i wanna start getting my car setup so i can improve my driving
whats wrong with the current setup that you want to fix? If you don't know you aren't driving hard enough. I vote for more seat time.
It sounds more like you really need lots more seat time and some instruction.

I always agree that seat time is the best,, the second being new tires!!!!
What is your application?
I have used TEIN and had very good results. This last weekend I tested the prototype Mfactory suspension, It tested very well and i will have a write up and pics on the "Mfactory honda challenge car " post.
Im not sure what they will be going for, but I would contact the guys at Mfactory . They may have a good introductory price going when they come out.
