k24 swap!! ...help!!

Default k24 swap!! ...help!!

I'm planning on building a k24! Buy I'm NLT site exactly witch block to use! I have a block from an 08 cr-v and a block from an accord!! I have an Si head that I'm gonna use! I'm planning on rebuilding the block and I know I'm gonna have to do some mods to it! For example like the oil filter cooler!! Has anyone done this! Or know where I could find some useful information???

u can use wutever block u want..its really up to u..if u cant bigger displacement n some tq go wit the k24..if u wanna rev alittle higher go with k20 block..

yes the oil cooler conversion has been one

k20a.org is ur new friend..lots of helpful information

Thanks...machine shop is gonna prob have to do thAt oil cooler right since the block is gonna have to be drilled

well if u go on k20a.org and search one of the stickys i believe it will show u how u can do it urself..yes it does require u to drill into the block

On the cr-v the oil filter is located at the bottom of the block by the oil pan! N the acoord is behind where the k20 is but no oil cooler...

if u plan on running a OEM style oil cooler i would run the accord block that has the oil filter that sits on its side...there isnt any real diff. between the k24 blocks besides the k24a2 block which has oil squirters..i noe on the new k24 the bottom half of the block has the oil filter on it but i havent seen anybody yet run those block
