lately my accord has been acting weird. sometimes when i start it, it would die right away. there was also a couple of times when i'm driving and it just shuts off. when it shuts off the key light starts flashing. i have a 98 accord 4 cyl. any idea what i could be?

 

getting any check engine light? likely that motor has some bad grounds, check them.

 

there's a check engine light but it's p0420 or something like that for the cat converter

 

Give it CPR to bring it back.

J/K. But seriously, if the catalytic converter is clogged, it will cause something like that. I had that problem with my old Sunbird, got a new one welded on, and didn't have that problem anymore.
