what exactly such as map sensor o2 sensor exc. would be cousing it to run so rich it runs choppy untill you get to high rpms then its fine.

Just curious and also I don't mean to thread jack but how can I know if my car is running rich? Will it have the gas smell smoke coming from the tailpipe?

I haven't driven mines much after the new piston rings install. Only have 40 miles on and it been sitting for 2 weeks. I need to drive it more to see. I think timing would cause that or a bad fpr?

Is your fuel pressure regulator vacuum line hooked up to the corect port on your intake mani? If u dnt have that hooked up right it would dump a lot of fuel and since its running the same percentage through all rpms it could be something with our computer. If its reading a wrong rpm it will run as if its reved out
