I just bought a 1997 CRV, but the condenser is busted.. pls someone tell me how to replace the condenser and what are the other parts that needs to be replaced..


Im planning also to buy a condenser in a junkyard.. can i use parts from accord? or from integra or from civic.. appreciate all your infos..

 

Buy a NEW condenser for A crv, some o-rings and have it charged with r134

 

do i need a special tool for it? and if i buy a new condenser will it come with o-rings? ty

 

normal hand tools, and no it will not come with o-rings.

 

got it. i can buy the o rings at advance auto parts.. but i prefer to buy a condenser from a junkyard would that be fine?

 

I would never buy a used a/c part but thats your call

 

i think so, i will just buy a new one.. i want to replace it my self.
