Viking Microfiber Kit?
So at the local Wal-Mart, there's this Microfiber starter kit made by Viking. I kinda figured by most of the standards on here, it's junk, but I thought I'd ask. Do you guys mess with auto parts store mf, or do you just order stuff? Anyways, the kit is normally 10 bucks, but is on sale for 7 this week. If everyone things it's decent, I may pick up two of em.
for engine bay and wheels i buy a big pack from walmart/costco.
but for the actually paint, i only use pakshak towels. their extra plush towel is so badass.
also their waffle weave drying towel is the softest as well.

it seems that guys on autotopia like the viking stuff. I think since I'm just starting out and still very new to this, I'll get me two of these packs to "learn" on...
just do the cd test. i used these to start off with as well, but once you start detailing, you will notice some clear coats will get so screwed up using these when wiping off during polishing
